December 9th, 2008 was the day that we had our legal wedding... you know, the one where you sign all the official documents. We don't count it as when we got married - we count the wedding ceremony on the 28th in South Africa as our real anniversary [we had to do the legal stuff in the U.S. before we left for visa purposes]... but it's kind of fun to have another sort-of anniversary. After all, it was the day that we were bound together by the law until death do us part. With that said, I completely forgot about it until Thomas came home with a bee-yoo-tiful flower for me :) He's only the best husband in the world. Fortunately, I had made a nice dinner for us (broccoli cheddar soup with garlic bread) so that kind of made up for forgetting.
Day 9 - Me and my flower. Excuse the work-out clothes and awful work-out hair, focus on the pretty flower :). It smells divine, and apparently it's going to open up into a big beautiful blossom.
