This past week has been nice and warm so we tried swimming again... the water is still a little chilly, but you don't notice it so much after a couple minutes. Judah couldn't care less - he'd probably still swim in the dead of winter.
He is totally fearless in the water - tries to swim right off the steps. This leads to many mouthfuls of swallowed pool water, but it doesn't seem to faze him! I can't take my eyes off him for a second.
He spotted a "buh-dee" in the tree.

Finally got him to look, but he was not happy about it :) He'd much prefer to be diving off the steps...
And then Dada came home from work and rescued him :)
I foresee many pool days this hot Texan summer!
He is so cute! It's amazing to see him grow and develop.
ReplyDeleteWe took Ivy swimming for the first time at Easter but she showed NO emotion whatsoever. She didn't even kick or play! I think she was overwhelmed. We'll try again when she's older!!
oh my gosh, how cute is he in the pool?! I love his hair and how his little belly pokes out over his diaper. Hey, tell Jude to send the hair-growing vibes this way, okay ;) Emmett's is still so thin and short!
